‘Housing Pirates’ are companies that phone, fax or email conference attendees, claiming to offer good deals on hotel rooms. They may falsely claim to be affiliated with Novel Trends in Rheology X conference (NTR10). If you provide your credit card information to one of these companies (commonly referred to as “housing pirates” or “housing bandits”), your card may be charged and you might not have a hotel room when you arrive in Zlin.

Targeting conference speakers and attendees with a fraudulent travel and hotel booking scheme worldwide was reported as a SCAM designed to obtain your credit card information and/or make phony charges to your credit card.
